Spring arrives in Union Square! FINALLY!
|
Easter Egg Hunt in Union Square Saturday, April 12th!
After a winter with record-breaking storms, buds are beginning to appear in the park and throughout the neighborhood!
So, mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12th! Heres the schedule for the Union Square Easter Egg Hunt: at 9:00 AM, you are invited and encouraged to come to the park to help clean up the litter, etc.; at 9:30 AM, please bring a dozen eggs to hide; and at 10:00 AM, the festivities begin!
Your children, grandchildren, and friends are welcome. Please contact
Erika Brockman
with the names of children attending and the number of adults who will join them. We want to make sure the Easter Bunny leaves enough goodies for everyone!
Tag Sale in the Park
Saturday, May 3rd!
SoWeBo Arts, Inc. is planning a neighborhood-wide tag sale to take place on Saturday, May 3rd so mark your calendars! Proceeds from this event will be used to pay for childrens activities at the SoWeBohemian Arts Festival.
The tag sale will run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on May 3rd, and Early Birds will get the best spots in the park. Cost for a table is $10 (to defray advertising and permit costs) and all the money you make is, of course, yours to keep. Everyone in the neighborhood is welcome to participate! If you are interested, please contact
Erika Brockman immediately. Register as soon as possible so plans and promotions can proceed.
In addition (if there is enough interest), there may be a breakfast in the park that day perhaps coffee, juice, donuts and bagels. It all depends on your response!
